ok i have an idea for a small business but i need to know how to start couse im new at this im trying to get ahold of stores like walmart sams club hot topic diferent things and try advertising things for them and if someone buys it of my website i get some profit i cant remeber what to call it exactly but its a samll idea i have other ideas but this one im looking into anyone know i can get it started but how to talk to companies

First of all get it squared away as to what you are doing...then create price sheets, contracts etc whatever may be needed. Be completely prepared before you contact any of those huge companies because if you don't come across as professional you will get nowhere.

As for contacting them to the right departments for selling advertising you are going to have to research...send emails, make phone calls...search for toll free numbers for their head offices etc.

If these companies have affiliate schemes, join them.
