Best place to live on the East Coast? |
Hi, I am looking into moving to North Carolina, or Virgina etc.. I was wondering what other places are good in the East Coast?, Good cities, good shopping(for business, and personal as well) Family of girls so u get the idea :P hehe. Anyways, I Love the east coast, and am really eager to move there. So any advice, sugguestions would be great! Thank you! Ciao Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill is great. A nice mix of people from all over, though would recommend avoiding some areas as they're getting so crowded with new construction and traffic. Avoid North Raleigh and Cary, both are getting very congested. I'm a huge fan of Chapel Hill and Carrboro, where growth restrictions are in place and it's not insane in terms of traffic, etc. The schools in Chapel Hill/Carrboro are among the best in the entire country. Great places to live with easy access to all of the great things to do in the metro area, while still in a small town setting. Safe, clean towns with a moderate cost of living compared to most of the east coast...2 hours to the beach, 2 hours to the mountains for getaways. The shoppers among you will enjoy the Streets at Southpoint, which is about 15 minutes from Chapel Hill.. Asheville, NC absolutely is the best, great people, excellent shopping, awesome scenery, very good arts and entertainment, loads of outdoor activities, 4 seasons instead of 2 or 2 1/2, accessible to other areas on the east coast via I-40 and I-26. definately boston massachusetts. BEST PLACE ever.... |
