How to start a pet sitting business?

I want to start a pet sitting business but my mom doesn't want me to. I am 13 and I want to make some money. Obviously I can't get a job, and when my mom pays me to do chores around the house I feel like I'm not gaining anything because we already had the money. I just want to know the basics like getting started, how much to charge, what to put on flyers and emails and other ads. I thought this was a reasonable job because I love animals, and I want to work with them when I get older.

Other things:
- I volunteer at the local humane society
- I took an animal camp

Btw I'm not going to spend the money on shopping. I'll put the money in the bank and save it for when I get older.

if your mom doesnt want you to do this then im assuming you cant bring these animals in your house, your best thing is walking dogs for now or taking care of fish tanks if you can learn about salt and fresh water tanks like the experts that come to peoples houses as often as needed to do watever the tanks needs. You should ask your mom if you can use the house for pet sitting first, then you can decide which type of pet care you can provide and what hours. Maybe pet grooming is a good idea, not everyone bathes and grooms their pets but they certainly pay for this service and you can do it at their house or yours. Until you know what you can do dont make an add, when you do, add a title like (joe's pet grooming or joes pet sitting)or somthing fun be creative but make sure its easy to remember, add your name and number and add the type of srevices you provide. As for prices make sure you keep a list of services and prices for yourself dont go putting it on the add (you can but what if someone else has better offers, then customers will come to them instead) (srry i dunno what to charge)just make sure you only do what you can handle dont over do it or you will stress and make sure you have a planner book and your appointments are enough time away from the next appointment(enough time to get to the location). Oh and do take whatever money your mom gives you it does count if it belongs to you, save it and it will matter once it makes a diffrence in your pocket, never reject money you never know when you will need it so value it.
