Will you encounter criminals? |
If you are in the US and plan to start a business, will you encounter criminals from organised crime that demand a share of your profits or pay dues to them every month or so? Or they will come and smash or burn your shop if you don't pay? I mean real criminals, not like what some people believe, ie, the tax collector, the government, etc. You have been watching too many movies. it depends where you live it happens in england. its called protection you pay so much a week to the so called criminal and he will not smash your place up Not likely, unless you locate in a bad area, like a known gang territory. Only in gang-controlled and notorious areas. probably but they will be a little more subtle than smashing things and burning shop. |
