The processing letters and stuffing envelopes are usually a scam and mystery shopping may earn you a few dollars but when you add up your time and gas you may be lucky to make 50 cents an hour.

If you really want to work from home, I would recommend doing your homework and finding a good solid company with a good product to market - something that that most people buy.

Paying some money out to have a website and/or products is not necessarily bad or a scam.

If you like the products and they are something you would use anyway you are not paying for something that you don't already buy.

To make any significant amount of money you will need to treat it like a "real" business and it will take time, effort and some investment to build.

Your success will depend on how quickly you learn and how hard you are willing to work and expect that it may take several months to a year to steadily earn profits of $500-$1000 per month.

Yes I have tried mystery shopping before and doing processing and for the amount of work you do it's really not worth your time! So in my search for a home based business

If you refer 8 people to become customers you can make around $850/ month. I've referred 4 people in only my first week. The best part of this company is you don't have to sell products, and the customer retention and reorder rate is 95%! It's just a really great company that's been around for over 20 years, and it doesn't jerk people around or rip them off! Plenty of survey companies are legit, despite what anyone says, they DO work. It's not that difficult to get to over $100-200 per month quickly, and potentially quite a bit more than that if you're patient and stick with it.
