What are the effects of performing everyday tasks without face to face may bring on dividual and society?

it is possible to perform everyday tasks such as banking, shopping and business transactions without meeting people face to face. What are the effects it may bring on the individual and the society as a whole?

Most of peoples meaningful human interaction does not come from the bank teller or the cashier. It comes from friends and family. I don't think it has much effect on individuals or society.
