Do I need to have my type of business insured and/or bonded ? |
I'm in the very early stages of getting an errand service going. My services that I offer are for both homes and businesses, and can be shopping, deliveries, pick-ups, pets, or any other reasonable request they may have. Should I be bonded or insured ? A problem with that is, I ended up with a felony 7 years ago, but no other convictions. I would think getting insured would be a good idea. I don't think you would need to be bonded however. That is usually for trades. You should be able to find out more from your local chamber of commerce. |
