I need to create a logo for a business project in my economics class or else i cant?

go to church tonight.
my business is a cofee shop and the name is very simple (coffee), so its the logo that is going to have to be memorable.
the building interior is supposed to be like deep rich colors like red and brown wood, its going to have a fireplace, and couches, and nice tables. this is the kind of coffee shop that adults can go to relax, read the paper, have a bible study, etc. it is going to be the type of place that servs their coffee in real mugs, not paper cups. so far, the only thing i have thought of is having a coffee mug with whip cream on top, and the word "coffee" in block leters inside the mug forming the shape of the mug and taking up all the space inside, but that doesnt seem like it fits the place very much, and i dont really want a coffee mug for the logo since it is pretty cliche.

after reading my discription of the place, would you buy your coffee there? what would make you more likely to get your coffee at my place?

Have a coffee mug with steam coming out of it with a book laying beside it. Or have like a coffee mug and steam and a whipped cream can and the whipped cream is coming out of the can onto the coffee but it just in mid air like it justs spraying

Try to incorporate a fireplace with fire burning into your logo.
