Who chooses the music that is played in shopping malls, and businesses and why is it all the same?

Some 50 year-old deaf guy picks the songs. And their all the same, cuz the same guy picks for all the malls and business.

It gets piped in from a central place, I don't really know where or how, but walking around UK DIY store B&Q they play music piped in from Germany, I know this as one of the record is by Sasha, and although he sings in English he is unknown in this country, whilst very famous in Germany.

i fell soory for the staff they have to listen to it all day
