All businesses are good if they are legal, ethical, moral. All businesses that qualify for this discreption include MLM. MLM is not a business, it is a way in which business is done.

Most people thing the business is MLM, and that is why they fail. The product and the company that supply it is the key to success in business.

For someone who is just staring, probably a mlm. I just started a mlm business and I can see how long term it will be good for me. It also teaches you how to manage people, which if one ever considers going to owning a traditional business, he/she must aquire that skill. Plus, with an mlm, you can focus on helping people and making money. You do not have to worry about paying all those bills, contractors, etc. that you would with a business. I also think it depends on the person!

All business are good. Shop is good. MLM is also very good. You can become independent consultant/ self employed. You can do anything for which there is a demand. 1st study market of your expertise. You can become agent of various exisiting businesses.

It depends on how fast you want to make the money, how long you want the income to last, and if /how fast I want my business to expand globally.

I could for example open a store and start selling my own brand of noni juice in Vancouver. But I'd need to get funds to do the manufacturing, buy the processing machines and take care of the overhead costs of the physical store. I'll also be stuck at that store doing business. I'll also have to look after employee(s) details, hiring, firing, babysitting their activity and behavior, etc.

MLM, will also take a while to learn, but I think once you start getting the great royalty type of income, and if you have built a nice large organization, it can last. Your business can also expand internationally, ie. you make money while you sleep!
