Brown is the sole owner of a small market garden business .The firm has a small shop on the site, selling its produce. Brown has decided to exapnd the shop and buy in flowers, vegetables and garden equipment from wholesalers.

a) What extra costs might be involved in expanding the business
b) Brown needs advice on how to finance this expansion. Where could he get this advice?
c)Brown considers two alternatives :
(i) Borrowing the money from a bank
(ii)Taking on a partner
What are the advantages and disadvantages of each?
d) To increase his sales Brown decides he will need to advertise
(i) How could he find out the type of consumer he should be trying to reach?
(ii) What methods of advertising is Brown likely to use?
give reasons to support your ideas.

read the book principles of marketing . It looks to me as you want someone else to do your homework. The Mr. Brown scenario can be fun because it comes down to speculations. There is not wrong answer.
