If i wanted to start a Business of my own like say a pet shop for instance, would i need a business degree? |
I had the idea to start my own Business, like my own Vetanerian's office...would i need a Business degree for that? and if no..then would i need anything? No, you do not need a degree to open your own business. You DO need a business license though. You get one of those by filling out a bunch of paper work and paying a fee. I think it's like 90 bucks but I'm not sure about that. Of course not! The beauty of running your own business is that you are your own boss, there are no requirements for the post. I would say experience is much more important then a business degree, you need to have a good knowledge of what it is you are doing so that you can convince customers that you are competent. But it might well be worth doing a basic accounting class if you have no experience in keeping accounts, as hiring an accountant would probably be far too expensive for a new business. |
