I own a body shop, and I want to generate more business,?

Would offering and advertising money towards customers up deductibles generate more business?
What kind of advertisment would be the best way?

Word of mouth is your best advertising. I'd avoid yellow pages, you don't get a lot of return for the money.

Have good quality business cards printed, and give them out. They don't do a bit of good in the box. Everyone you run into, present a card.

If you have a local paper that has a service section, run a continuing ad there with your name and phone number at a minimum.

Try to answer the phone on the second ring, smile when you answer, a smile shows up in your voice.

Follow up with the customers you have now, be positive and upbeat and try to make them happy (not always possible I know) and you will soon wish you could take break from all the business that will come your way.

I like your idea about the money towards deductibles. There is a glass place in SC that does that, gives you $25.00 I think if you let them replace your glass when you have comprehensive coverage. I think if you did that, advertised it on the radio, and did good quality work then your business would boom! Get an easy to remember phone number and keep your word to the customers and I bet you would have more customers then you can handle. Good luck!
