Advise on starting a hairdressing business?

hiya well i woudl like to start a hairdressing business,but am unsure where to start what to look for where i should look to open a shop,where it is good for business,how much money it will cost what i need to do ,any advice as this will be my first business adventure,aprox how much is it going to cost me is it best to rent a shop or buy one how will i know wether its in right location,etc any advice be truely greatful x

go on the dole to get a giro and free rent,

get all your tackle,

put advertisement in local papers and shop windows etc , but no adress,

go mobile.i.e.......... travel to customers homes

saving money and gettin paid at same time

all other stylists do it , why not you ?

It may be a good idea to look at renting a room/space within a large posh hotel, leisure centre, gym or beauty salon, that way you can build up a reputation for yourself and gain experience of running a business before taking the full plunge.
