Do you think this much money is good for back to school shopping?

my boyfriend has a really good job and he has an online business and well he takes care of me im 17 by the way i live with both of my parents and i told them i dont want them to give me money because well im turnin 17 in 2 days and my bf is 19 and he makes 5,000 a month in online business and he said he's gonna give me 3,000 dollars for back to school shopping but for some reason i dont think its enough lol i love to shop at forever21 and sneakers stores and shoes stores and i made a whole list of what im gonna buy you people would say $3,000 girl you need at least 4,000 you think im asking to much? i love shopping but i dont ask my parents for money all the time even though they financially stable and own a hari salon for 19 and a Condinium Building and is A Landlord do you think i derserve it when i never asked for money at all except food or nails i have lots of clothes in my closet but i love updating it? so $3,000 is enough? tell me..

half that should be sufficient unless you only go shopping once a year.

forever 21 is pretty cheap and they have good sales, so just like be aware of what you're getting and how much it is and you'll be fine, i wish i had $3,000 for back to school i get $300 for clothes and $200 for supplies

pretty sure i could go to college on that much money geeze. have you ever thought of clothes swapping with friends or stores like ross thats still in fashion but discounted. or I don't know perhaps you could get a job!

i'm a guy, but i still know that forever 21 is cheap, and if three g's is not enough there dont even bother going to the real clothing stores such as abercombi, express, or even american eagle

Sounds like enough to me.
Depends on where you shop, how much you get, ect.
But I think if your boyfriend is that generous, you should take it and appreciate it. Don't ask for more. Because think about it. That's money that he could spend on himself.

Listen I think you are trying to show off and be a brat no one gets 3,000$ for back to school shopping and so now that you do you think you need to go and show it all off and tell everyone usually people only get up to 800 $ if even that much so stop trying to show off.

lets just say be happy you even got a dollar. 3,000 is more than enough. if not just deal with it. i deff wouldnt ask for more. thats a bit..umm...selfish. make yer own money.

Don't you think that's a bit... I don't know. Greedy? If you're just shopping at Forever 21, trust me, you don't need 3,000 dollars. If you look at the price of pants, shirts, dresses, skirts... You should be able to get at least 6 outfits for under $350. You're taking more than half of his month of pay. Don't you feel bad? You're not asking your parents for money, who technically should be taking care of your financially, but you're hitting up your poor boyfriend? 5,000 isn't that much money, to be honest--- especially if you subtract the cost of living these days.
Besides, you make it sound as if your family is well-off. You should at least get high end clothes in that case.
