What would you have said? I took my former daughter-in-law and Grandson school shopping yesterday?

My son and his new girl friend stopped by the house, and my son asked how the shopping went and what did I buy. Then he asked, "Who gets the clothes? She wants to know. Then GF chipped in and said the clothes should be shared. She was very proud to say she shops for her kids and sends a bill to her EX for half the cost of the clothes. I should have told her it's none of her business, but sour-castic as I am, I said, "Yes, I should have snatched half the clothes the mother picked out and said you have to share these clothes." We already have a process of sharing clothes and it works out pretty well. I also said I'd take my son school shopping for my Grandson whenever he wanted to go. Her sticking her nose in my business fried me, like she had any business telling me how I should be spending my money and treating my Grandson. She also wants to have one of my son's two dogs put to sleep. I'm trying to let this go, but I can't get over her high assed attitude.

She must have something he likes.....apparently under her clothes :). Hope he dumps this jerk. Good for you not letting her get to you...if you hate her it's a sure way to get your son to marry her.

Although, now that I'm thinking about it, you should have added, "Well, I guess if you two ever get married and divorced, I won't need to take your child shopping, you can just go and send HIM the bill."

plain and simple, do exactly as you want to do.
as for the dogs, thats his problem to worry about.
if hes foolish enough to let her have his dog put to sleep now
imagine what else hes looking at down the road., he might want to pay closer attention, to this situation if he plans on keeping her around...just my opinon..good luck

it's none of her business how her boyfriend and the ex handle their child's wardrobe or anything else! and none of her business who buys the clothing or what YOU do or not, to help.

OMG....that woman has some gall. I would have told her to keep her nosy @ss out of my business.
