Does anyone else have a problem with shopping in superstores ?

One for the men !
Don't you find shopping in a superstore a really nauseating experience. I mean - you following the wife about as they get down to the scientific business of sorting out the special offers (unless you're rich of course) and you're helping with the heavy items but getting more and more bored by the minute and of course the butter is a million miles from the cheese etc., because they want you to walk round the store. And then there are those cafaterias' - by the time you've got your egg and bacon to the table it has turned to cardboard.

Does any man out there like me feel there should be male creches ? Come on face it - we're useless at shopping and just get in the woman's way. Surely it would be far better to go to a pool/snooker/arcade room until the 'scientific process' has been completed and then just get summoned to the checkout to help with packing the trolly - all those heavy plastic bags - by the way why do americans use those silly brown paper bags ?

Could the people who are still members of the Moral Coward Society refrain from answering my questions - and do you lot ever actually read through your answers when you post them - some answers look like they've been written down by someone with mental and motor skill problems - or maybe just having a bad hair day!!!

Only if I'm with an indecisive woman. I can't stand it when a person has to take all day to determine what they should buy. You should know what you need before you go, get it, pay for it, and leave.

As far as the paper bags. I don't know why. The plastic ones are bad for the environment because of some gases emitted (not really sure about the science behind it though). But I agree, paper bags are not good for carrying multiple bags.

I'm not sure exactly what Mr. Wilde means by that, so I can't really agree or disagree, but a huge percentage definitely has the "ponder complex." Life could be so simple. Report It

lucky me for my husband. My husband's other job is Photography, so when he wants to make me his subject he will take me shopping...BUT he already know what were buying and where were buying it.

He doesn't really like going with me when i'm shopping for real.he thinks that i should do some window shopping and when i find what i like then we will comeback and get it and get out.
