How sd I start export business frm India of womens' garments, stoles, Jewellery to US ?

I hv a friend in US. She wants to do the marketing and selling through web shops. We are thinking of doing the business together i.e. I will do the sourcing and supplying and she, the selling. Need some guidelines to do it from India. What ground work do I do.How do i send the stuff. Are there some export laws. This will be very small scale so how do i go about it?

1st of all u have to take liesence from foreign trade department and also from airport authority & port authority & then just procure your things pack in a good manner & send it to ur friend but before that check ur selling price & profit margin
