Business Degree?

Hi, I am an autostudent who someday would like to own his own shop. So I figure I'd take some business course too. Thing is, i dont know what to take or where to start. I don't care if it's an associate or bachelor's degree. Just want something to give me an insight and help me run my own shop one day. Thanks

You can go either route with an associate or bachelor's degree. You can also just take the classes that would benefit you the most without earning any degree. If you are going to be owning a franchise then a degree would be helpful. Otherwise it is just your personal preference. I would definitely take small business related courses such as accounting, entrepreneurship, human resources (depending on the size of your company), marketing, and so forth.
