Is it possible in World Of Warcraft to become rich through business, not fighting?

I know fighting and questing is the main part of the game, but is it possible to set up a business or something in World Of Warcraft? Running a shop of something? And getting assets in the game like that?

I was able to make a little coin by some skillful manipulation of the Auction House Prices.

I noticed that the price fo Wool Cloth ws dropping (at a time that I was loaded with several stacks of it). I bought out all the cloth that was on sale and resold it at a profit.


Since then, I have always speculated that there is probably a case for a "commodities trader" in WoW. Buying goods in the Auction House for a low price, then selling it high.

If that is where your head is at, you probably could make a bit of loot trading and dealing for goods. Everyone, invariably, picks up drops that THEY can't use but someone else needs. The Auction House is the usual stop for that , but if you can introduce yourself in there, you might be able to make a bit of gold.

It's A Bit Difficult.But If You Have Friends That Give You Stuff I Guess You Can.

Although initially it will be slow, there a ways to become rich in WoW with very little fighting. The problem of course is that you will need to level up to become rich because as a low level player you will never be able to make money.

Anyway, mining, herbalism and alchemy are very good professions for making money (especially at higher levels). It just takes large bags and a sense of business when auctioning your items in the Auction House.

you have to do a bit of both. even if you do all skills, you still have to reach certain levels for many of the more advanced things. in order to reach these levels, you need to do quests which most of the time will require some type of fighting. just fighting in general will help you level as well.

The best way includes selling at the auction house and fighing. Create yourself a "banker" toon that you will mainly leave in a major city like Ironforge. When ever you're main character gets green,blue,purple items from fighting, mail it to the banker to go into the auction house. Mining, herbalism, and skinning can take up major room in your bags, so send the extra stuff to your banker to put in their bank, freeing up your mains for more items. Another way is to find a good drop zone that is lower lvl than you so you can go in, wipe out everything and walk away rich. Hope this help.

Running a shop? There is an auction house you can make assets off of or you can publicly announce in the game that you are selling items, but other than that I do not see any other business ways.

Getting assets in the game are accomplished by quest rewards, instance and world drops and selling items on the Auction House.

Think of the Auction House as WoW's E-bay.

The easiest way is to fill all your bags up by soloing instances and then working the Auction House to get the most profit. Another thing you can do, that is more expensive, is buy every single auction of that item (cloths, leathers,ores, enchant reagents,plants) and sell it for your desired price. Another method that is a bit more dishonest is go on high level instances and use bad gear, thus the other players will see that you need an epic item when it drops, then just vendor/disenchant it. all these systems have worked for me in the past.
