How much business do bakeries get?

Any bakery owners or anyone who works in a bakery, how much business do you usually get? If it was like a cake shop but also where you can come relax, have a pastry, and meet friends do you think itd get enough business judging it was a nice place, to be succesful? Do people even go to bakeries anymore other than to just get cakes?

YES!! ppl still goes to bakeries...nice LOCATION is a big plus, nice and clean atmosphere is a must.
ppl are always looking for a place to meet that doesn't requires a heavy meals, a nice pastry and a drink is perfect.
you might end up having a chain of bakeries if your goods are GREAT!! get feedback's from your customers what they like best ( and base in your best seller) have a special on a slow days.. to try to bring ppl in.
or....have a especial of the day where ppl look forward to coming to your place.
