What kind of business can we put up?

Me and my bf is planning to put a small business here in the Philippines.We had so many ideas to choose from like we wanted to put up an internet cafe and net advertising.Also, I've got this idea to put a bake shop(since I kindda like to bake), or a small coffee shop/ice cream parlor.But since we are just starting to save, what can you suggest the kind of business we can start?Money is in peso by the way.

I could brainstorm ideas with you for hours of what you could or should do but only you and your bf know what's right for your skills, experience, passion and your local area (target market) so I'll skip that. I would encourage you to write and review a business plan once you make a concrete decision but also want to advise you that since business expenses are tax deductible, I would wholeheartedly suggest that you get the counsel of an attorney and accountant. If you are going into a partnership with someone (unmarried) you both need to protect yourselves financially in the event your relationship doesn't do as well as your business. Most couples argue about money more than anything else and a business will add to that responsiblity. Survey family, friends and strangers about your business ideas to get a handle on what's profitable for you to pursue... and then go for it!!!
