Can one have any shares left from his business after his bank is liquidated? This small grocery was closed.? |
There's something I don't understand, someone wrote a story that someone who was running a grocery had to close their shop and was almost bankrupt because their bank got liquidated and they could not get back their money. However a few weeks later, a friend came along and said that if the other could offer his shares in the business as collateral the friend would help out by giving him a loan and that they should become partners. Help, have I missed something? Maybe I need an education in what shares are, what bank liquidation means to a businessman, and how to pick up oneself after bankruptcy. Banks usually don't go into liquidation. Usually in developed countries you have deposit insurance where you get back some if not all of your money |
