2. A proxy is someone who takes the place of another. For example proxies are usually used at sharehold meetings to vote the shares of multiple people at one time.

3. A hostile workplace is defined by perception more than facts,. For example if an employee is uncomfortable at work because someone is always telling rude jokes then a hostile workplace has been created.

4. If a new employee is required to join the union then it is known as a closed shop.
