I was shopping last night.....?

and a man who works in the supermarket stopped me and asked me where my man was - I was a bit apprehensive as I don't know him but I said that he was at home as our mate had come round to visit. He then said that I should dump my guy and be with him as he wouldn't let me out of his sight and he would worship me! I got real freaked and ran out and went home only to tell my fiance who is very angry about it all. Why do guys annoy you when you are minding your own business? Who knows what my fiance will do!

You've got to admire the balls on this guy at least. If this employee was bothering you so badly, you should have complained to the manager. It's one thing to be complimented...it's quite another when this guy so obviously freaked you out. I also would have told him it's none of his business. You don't have to tell the truth to complete strangers, especially when they make you uncomfortable.

The guy thought you were hot. And he's weird to be hitting on people in the grocery store, but in Ladder 49 didn't they go to the grocery store to pick up women? Maybe that's what he was trying to do, just he's really weird.

Dear, what you should have done is notify the manager immediately that there's a strange man harassing you and frightening you. You are not obligated to give out any information to any strangers, especially one that is threatening and harassing you. Call the manager of the store and describe this man to you, so he/she can be on the lookout for this fool. This way, you are empowering yourself and not being the little victim who needs her fiance to protect her.
