I own a business and find it hard to meet and keep close girlfriends, its lonely at the top, help? |
I am a mid 40s artist who has 2 growing shops. I have gotten to a point where I can cut myself out of the labor portion of trhe equation, but seem to have forgotten how to socialize and keep close girlfriends. My partner/husband takes note I communicate with my male associates easily, and cuts anything sounding social short with them. Do I just clam up and get a bigger adding machine or what? sometimes it`s better off this way......you don`t have to worry about her sleepin` w/ your man or trying 2......or her using you for escape goat but forgets to tell you this so her man is calling and i could not lie if my life depended on it ...unless it was my dad. I am 27 but for some strange reason i still find myself trying to live up to his expectations.. And that being said friends can also be very selfish. Like for example you simply stated the time and i am more worried about explaining how the clock works!! |
