DNC decision on attempting to take a tax-holiday for themselves,?

hypocrisy or a simple oversight?

Scott, it doesn't matter what a "boon" it is to Denver, what they attempted to do was illegal and yes I agree the City of Denver is equally at fault.

Hypocrisy at it's best.

I'm sure they will try to minimize it the best they can.

Elitism strikes again. It's not what you know, it's who you know. Private people filling up at the tax free pumps of the city to save a few nickels smacks of Marie Antoinette and "let them eat cake." Hypocrisy running rampant.

First off, it would be the city of Denver's responsibility to take care of that issue. Secondly, do you have any idea what a boon to the city a convention like that is?

Well now aren't they special. No, they should be paying for their gas just like every one else. Those pumps should be reserved for police cars, fire trucks and ambulances. But, anything negative will be swept under the rug.

At the same time, they try and raise taxes on gas at the same time.
