Pampered Chef consultants or other home business women...? |
How in the world do you get two shows a week?!? I joined Pampered Chef today and I am very very excited about it. I read the contract and I understand it (I think:)) so don't think I am trying to back out or anything along those lines at all. I have wanted to do this for a long time. ...was actually like a 19 year old kid). Anyway, since PC is fairly pricey, how do you make contacts to sell the stuff? If my mom hosts a party, and her guests spend what they want, why would they host their own? Since it really is a SMALL town, they'd be hosting for the same people... Well first you need to see if you have any friends or family members willing to host a couple of shows and invite people you don't already know to the shows. And hopefully you will get shows off that. And just know that while they do want you to qualify as soon as you can, there is not time limit you have. You can put cards up on grocery stores, laundromats, libraries, etc with your name and number and other info to get order. If there are any craft type fairs or anything where you can sit and promote yourself you can do. You can if you have a car put your name and number plus Pampered Chef to promote yourself. Well, since your in a smal town, you can poat ads on fre sites and say something like showing how to create tasty dishes with these fine cooking products. This way your telling the customers not only are they coming there to buy something, but there going to eat as well. Here are my two cents, for whatever they're worth, ha ha: I am not from Pampered Chef but with another company that does the in home shows. I am with At Home America. And to answer your question people will book at a show to earn the great hostess benifits. I dont know what kind of benifits your company has I have never done a show with them. But with ours they can earn many things at 1/2 price for sales 1/2 price for bookings and also hostess credit among other wonderfull homewares. Hey! I am a consultant for Passion Parties, and the way that I get my parties is .. off other parties! But, what is this that I hear a woman died going to an interview for nanny? OMG. Scary! So, are you planning on doing any shows in other peoples homes? Gosh. I guess you could also do an open house, and maybe just post an ad saying that you will do the parties in your home...Maybe? It would be more convenient lol. OK. Hope that helps! Sorry if it doesn't:) Hi- there are many great groups out there to join where you can have your own Party Room. This is a great way to introduce yourself, your business, get contacts, advertise who you are and your business. There are even groups especially designed for consultants, just search Yahoo groups for Pampered Chef, do an online search for party groups- one great room I recently found was PartyNetwork. This isn't a singles group, but a group of Moms getting together to network and start introducing their products. Also- there is an excellent new Yahoo group called Advertising: Stay At Home Moms where articles are made available for advice on your small business and it's a great way to meet other moms. Don't work for Yahoo or anything, but I have found that support, advertisement, and support is a great way to meet your goals and getting to know potential customers. Hi, I am a Tupperware Consultant. I understand your concerns. How to get parties lined up? First you need to hold a "show/home party". You can start it at your own place. From there, you show them the benefits of the Host; what they can get for Free, discounted items; how easy it is to host one party. Ignite your hosts and guests interest by showing them all the products they can possibly get. Make the party FUN and RELAXING! Join groups. Those help a lot. |
