Business e-mail problems?

Hello

This company has e-mail domian hosting space for e-mail communication.
For example this is the current site that they use... http://www.hotchilli.net/

The company is a non-profit organisation but has upto 500 staff and is national. It cares for about 100-200 service users.
But this e-mail system is just for the east of the UK.

I was told that the company is not big enough to hold it's own intranet and probably can't hold it's own e-mail system on it's website.

Any ideas around this problem, or do you have any idea of really reliable sites to replace this one I showed you?
