Please help me with my website and server?

Hi, i am starting my own business. i created a website with dreamweaver and need help hosting it. I don't want to pay somebody per month. if i get a server can i hsot my own site. i know that i have to get a dedicated ip adress. Wha else do i have to do to set it up. i know a lot about the hardware of a cpmputer but i know nothing about servers and that kind of stuff. this info would be very helpful.

the bsuiness is going to be a corp. not a small store i will need a server.
