How to make my website higher in Search Engines?

Ok first of all I am 16 years old and I use to sell items on eBay by using a certain wholesaler. Well over the months I did this I bought about 4 wholesale list for a little over $150. Well the wholesaler went out of business and I obviously could not sell their products on eBay anymore. I recently created a website, and listed some of the wholesalers off some of the list and it is entirely FREE to everyone. I plan on paying for the hosting fees by google adsense and maybe make just a little bit of extra cash. Can anyone tell me how I can make my website www.freewholesale411.com become higher or even exist in google and yahoo search engines for little or no cost. I would greatly appreciate it! The fastest way to get listed in the search engines is to write articles and submit them to the article directories. Having your own blog can help with this because having a blog on your own website can be set up to notify the article directories any time you post a new article.
