Disregarding the answers of others...At first look, how would you pronounce "Sera Dol莽a?" ("c" w/bottm squigly

Sera Dol莽a is the name of my catering company. After much indecision and waffling, trying to find a half-decent name, we settled on this last week (it took twice as long to figure out a name we at least agreed on). This past week, we have been moving very quickly: designing a logo and business documents, letterhead, and envelopes, registering a domain name and finding a host, etc. Just a few minutes ago, my business partner raises doubts about the name, citing the three or four people we have heard so far try to say the name. He says that this will lead to nothing but lost revenue and headache later on, and now is the time to change. I say that the possible costs incurred by the minor mispronunciations we've heard are far outweighed by the costs of trying to come up with yet another name, and have to redesign the business cards, letterheads, etc, no to mention look for a new domain name. So, ladies and gents...You are my random sample. A poll on here will really help us decide what to

sera dolka,yes

"Sair-ah Dol-sa"

Sarah Dul-ka

at first glance i'd pronounce it as "serah dolka"

The names fine. I would say it's pronounced Sara Dolsay. I think it will catch on just fine. It's the food and atmosphere that will keep people coming back.

sera dolsa

sara dolche

Sair-ah Dole-ca

I would pronounce it like Sarah Dole-cha....and I love it. Once people have heard the name they won't forget it, so it has it's upside too.

Sera would probably said like Sara and Dol莽a would sound like Dolsa, because it's kida frenchy and that symbol makes the c sound like an s.
