How do I advertise my calligraphy website?

I recently started my own business but I need some inexpensive ways to advertise my website. The site is: www.machinecalligraphy.com. I want it to get a high volume of visits particularly from brides or people who host a variety of parties. Any ideas where to begin? I need some business!!

You could try advertising on Craigslist.org

Put up some flyers in your local grocery stores, flower shops, tailors/seamstresses, coffee shops, and bridal boutiques.

Maybe an ad in the local newspaper. Do you have a local town newspaper, not like the daily one's but a weekly one, the town I grew up in it was called the Town Talk and it was about the immediate area.

Also you could put a decal on the window of your car, with the websites name and so people might see it and be curious.

Now listen. I have not tried this, but, may when I do my next web-site. I always say, nothing is free. This may be a general submission and you show up as #905,678 in the search. Also, after you signed up they may try to sell you to get more on top of the lists, I not sure.

try affiliating yourself with bridal websites and party supply sites if they have spots for advertising..

Get yourself out and market your skill. Great way to start off is at fairs and set up a booth to do simple personable stuff. Kids like their names done in different fonts; adults like phrases about themselves; their pets etc..
