How can I get my website domain name back? |
I own a tow truck company and had a friend who does webhosting for medical billing sites make me a company site. So he does. Now he ignores my calls. The information is outdated and the cars on the site are way gone. I want to be able to update the info but I cant because he did it for me. Now he is a host going through a larger host. Can I contact the larger host and ask for the domain name to be transferred. Because it was not me who made the site, can I get it back because it has my company logo and information on it. Can he be liable for services not renderred and have to give up the domain name? (same name as my business) He is a friend and have had no fallout but I guess he is too busy. I dont want to be held liable for false advertising or make customers mad that they never see anything up to date as to cars I have for sale. This will depend on a few things. Go to www.NetSol.com and click o the WhoIs tab, do a search for your domain name. |
