Help My Family Please?

Ok, so you all have always been here for me whenever I have a question about the little one I work with or my brother. You are some of the nicest people I have ever met. I also know that many of you know about different organizations and are very knowledgable in ways too get help so I decided to come here first. My family is going through an extremely hard time right now. My mom and my stepdad have seperated and it's just me, my mom and my two brothers now. They have been together since I was 3 years old and I'm 28 now. The reason they have seperated is because my stepdad literally ruined our lives. He is in the midlife crisis aka losing his mind stage of life and he decided to quit his job and start his own business with some of his so called friends. They started a real estate business and we took out a loan to start his business and too remodel our home, which is very old and was in very bad condition. Well, everything went downhill from there. My stepdad quite literally used up just about the whole loan without my mom realizing it, which left us without enough money to finish fixing up our home. Now our house has no roof, and half of it has no walls, no insulation, no floors and is growing mold everywhere inside because everything inside the house got soaked with the last few storms we had. My mom recently found out that my dad got over a million dollars in loans last year alone to buy homes with...which he now can't pay for...but that's a whole different story. My stepdad started acting really strange and awful towards everyone...but especially towards my mom. We later found out it's because he is no longer in love with my mom, but with a 19 year old teenager. My mom didn't want to believe it until a few weeks ago when we went to the local grocery store and literally ran right into them turning a corner. He was buying her groceries when my mom can barely afford to buy us the basics. Since that incident...he moved to riverside into one of his other homes and left us here in this house that he got with a loan and moved us into, when we couldn't get our home finished. It was only supposed to be a few weeks. We've been here almost a year now. He has been gone for 2 weeks now. My mom got a call yesterday telling her that his house (the one we are in) is going through forclosure. He hasn't been able to pay the mortgage on it for months. So now we are going to be without a home, and my stepdad doesn't want us living with him and has made that quite clear.He moved all of his relatives in his new home. There isn't even any room there for us. My mom can't afford to rent another place and pay for the mortgage on our home so we are going to have to move into our home with no roof and no walls and one partially working bathroom. My poor mom is crying all the time, wondering what we are going to do.We don't have anymore money to fix our house with and my mom doesn't make enough money to get another loan. We are barely scraping by right now. We are trying to pay our bills, and barely have enough money for food. If anyone can help us in any way or knows some organizations that can help us...please let me know. I already wrote to the montel show and the oprah show. I am also printing out the extreme home makeover application as I write this. It wouldn't be so bad if my brother was able to work, but as many of you know...Josh has aspergers syndrome, anxiety problems, ocd's, extreme light sensitivity, and severe sensory problems and has been unable to find a job where he is comfortable and feels ok.Most people don't even call him back for an interview. He also has several learning disabilities and may also be bi-polar on top of everything else! I am trying to help my mom as much as I possibly can. I also live at home still and have my own host of problems. I too have sensory problems,asthma,dwarfism, learning disabilities,hearing impairment,ocd's,and add. I'm so worried about my family...can anyone help us? Thanks for your time everyone, and thanks for listening!

Halfway house or community living through dshs

Well first of all I just want to let you know that I feel sorry for you and your family and prayers goes out to you all. When I was reading your question I just broke down in tears because I felt so sorry for you and your family, nobody deserves to be treated like that. I know it's hard for you all but just pray to the Lord and he'll help you out. Why don't you and your family go down to a local chruch and ask them to help you guys. Tell your mom to take your stepfather to court for what he did and is doing, that doesn't make any sense for him to be acting like that. But that is all that I can really tell you to do because I really don't know any other organizations that will help you all. But the best of luck goes out to you trying to go on the Oprah and Montell show. I hope you and your family could get back on your feet and make your lives better. I hope I helped.

You really need to seek legal advise from a lawyer. I know there are programs available for women that helps with the cost of lawyer fees for divorce.
