How can I get started in the I.T field?

Im a recent business grad. I like the problem-solving, consulting and training aspect of IT...not programming. I'm thinking of getting a CCNA and such certification. But how do i get my first job in IT? and what kind of job...a help desk job?

Can you go through your college to find a job? Usually recruiters go to the colleges to look for people. How about a customer support job for a tech company? It pays well if you are in a pretty large city.
