How's my economic stimulus plan?

New York state just raised cigarette taxes to $2.75 per pack, the highest in the country. Since my logic is such, maybe I can impact the economy in my own way!

My Economic Stimulus Plan?

I want to help the economy鈥?so
I am thinking of smoking again.
Now before you tell me its bad, etc.,
consider the economic impact of one.

A pack a day my habit back when
At $2.75 that鈥檚 a thousand for the state
Not to mention the poor farmers too
$10 a pack in New York you say?
Well, that鈥檚 $3,650 yearly gain!

The auxiliary businesses flourish too...
breath mints, Rolaids, laundry, to name a few鈥?br> not to mention clothing burns replaced!
Even detailers gain as car smells tell

And the professionals鈥 complete bonanza
starting with teeth, periodontal cleanings.
Insurance companies get more too, keep adding,
and the doctors鈥hey are salivating for sure!

Need a lung replaced? No problem, three hundred g鈥檚
but first tests, more tests, blood draws and pricks.
Less not forget the consults and x-rays too
and lowly cough drops for the hacker鈥檚 hack!

The holy grail is the heart attack, arteries clogged
One needs two CPA鈥檚 to keep payments rolling.
Are we getting the picture? The economy is humming.
Consider the economic impact of one.

Yes, yes the family will suffer my early lost.
But monies saved from nursing homes bills
will more than offset legal fees鈥?to fight!
We鈥檙e talking big tobacco payday here!

So, stand aside Mr. Buffet鈥?br> I be worth a whole lot more!

Your plan is well-thought out and tres clever. I was going to quit this month, but I shall think twice now. I do want to do my part for the economy. I'm a good American.

I've quit smoking 4.....no, 5 times now, and each time it lasts a little longer....But here I am still making my daily contribution to the economy.

And one can't say, "I gave at the office." On this subject I should never answer I could go on forever! Suffice to say,
it is compareable to "unfair trade" The now gas rates etc.
As to the words, "To save the youth" At our start 20 cents a
pack, we pooled our money, just as we did for gas.
