What can I do with my holding company? |
I am the sole shareholder of a holding company duly incorporated in Canada, which I set up to collect dividends from company X of which I am one of the three partners. I have money in the holding company, and I now decided to leave company X. I am in the consulting business. Can I use my holding company to do consulting? What business expenses can I pay with the money in my holding company? I know that if I collect dividends from my holdings company, they will be considered taxable income. Beside dividends to myself, what other legitimate business expenses can be paid out with the holdings company? ...and you can't afford to take a hot shower?? |
