BA in Business but Interested in I/O Psychology?

I have a Bachelor in Business, and 8 years experience working in management consulting. I have a strong passion for psychology, and found that I/O Psychology would be a good fit for me. I am consideringf pursuing a Master's degree in it. I have the following questions:

1. Will I have to take undergrad courses before I can pursue a masters degree in I/O Psychology?

2. What schools offer a masters degree in I/O Psychology in Canada ( Ontario or Quebec preferably) that you would recommend?

3. Do you think that obtaining an MBA in Organizational Behaviour is a better option? Do you think these two degrees are similar?

4. What do you think of this move?

3) The MA/MS in I/O and the MBA in Org Behavior cover some of the same material but are very different degrees. The MBA will be far more about business than about psychology.

Org Behavior is one subfield of I/O Psych. Explore exactly what you want to do with that master's. If you're wanting to become a licensed psychologist consulting to businesses then the MA/MS in Psych is the only real route. It will cover research methods and is all about psych and not so much about business. Professional psychologists really need a PhD or PsyD in that world. I/O Psychologists tend to get stuck in 'tests and measures' a lot - or so it seems to me. They don't get to do the OB intervention work that the HR people seem to do more of.

If you're wanting to move into the world of HR Development inside a company or stay in management consulting, then the MBA may be a better road as it offers more options. The MBA will cover much of the material you already got in your BBA and is "all about business".

If you do the I/O Psych degree then you'd need to meet some undergrad psych prereqs if you didn't already do them in your undergrad. It's not a lot.

It seems to me that I/O Psych is a growing field. I have a master's in HR Development (which also covered a good deal of org behavior) and I have no shortage of requests for input.
