I need Career advice?

I recently got released from a contract assignment, I had to fight for the job, and really dissappointed. I graduated about a year got about 8 months of job experience as Customer service and IT consulting. My degree, is in business admin(marketing)(minor in IT), I am frustrated I thought I've landed something that I can start my career. After a week, I start questioning my career path. I just don't want to do temp jobs for the rest of my life. I would appreicate some guidence.

Your academic background sounds like it positions you well for a job in corporate America.

Have you tried applying directly for full time positions in any business related departments at major corporations?

You could also look for a headhunter who can match you up with job opportunities in the business arena.

Lastly, if you have a relationship with a temp firm, ask if they have any temp-to-perm opportunities that you might be interested in. If you do well, you can build a full time career at the company. People at my firm have gone from temp all the way to manager in a permanent capacity.
