Are we all being "Played," by yuppies and businesses?

Meaning, are people who have a business mindset, yuppie types, etc, are they all just looking for ways to cash in on us? I just had someone stop by my door, offering me his business for a consulting thing, how to use your money properly. I read the brochure, and I'm thinking my god, 10,000 offices. Then I asked myself, we have so many businesses, and so many people making money of of humanity every second of every day, it's a bit depressing.

Everything is a business, and we're all basically played on a constant basis.

Who can we trust? Everyone out there wants our money.

Even religions. If religions claim that they don't want our money, then they want our time. (AND mind)

Why is everyone trying to buy us?


Are we really being played?


Also, what can we REALLY do, to protect ourselves, and to deal with all of this, which I personally believe is reality, for better or for worse?

How can these "yuppies" do what they do, and get fat off of other ppls money?

These people don't really care for the future state of humanity so to say, or are visionaries, or "godly" or soulful people to any degree. They're basically like computers, just seeing where they can make their profit, how they can make it, and use people, for their own visions and goals.

THIS Is basically America and the world we live in.

Is this right at all? I"m sorry but to me it's F*cked up.

But obviously if you're like that, you're going to think that I'm the bad guy or the deluded one.

And if you have nothing meanignful to say, I'll just thumb you down and report you ,if your answer is offensive b/c I don't need that.

Yes, in my opinion, we are being played, leeched even. Some say it is really the big multi national companies that run the world, not governments. Have you seen the film Constant Gardener? If you haven't, do. It demonstrates perfectly what you are saying.

Sometimes it seems so depressing. How can we protect ourselves? I don't know. But I'll tell you what I do. I don't own or watch TV. I only use a computer for admin purposes or to communicate, never for entertainment. I don't eat anything unless I recognise the ingredients. I only listen to the news once a day and I take most of it with a pinch of salt. I look people in the eye when I talk to them and give them my full attention. I try to be kind to them (but never a doormat) and I try not to make assumptions about them. I try not fill my house with things I don't actually need. In other words, I try to be the sort of person I would like to see populating the world. Don't know if it will make any difference, but it's got to be worth a try.

Dont let anyone steal your dignity, if you have a voice make it known, but dont confirm with other people standards if you dont agree with them.
Mostly people who conform, are lost souls that dont know where there going.

They need a little soul searching.
