HP, Dell or Compaq desktop?

I would like personal opinions as to which of the manufacturers above would be the best to buy and why? I am looking to spend around $450-$525 just for the PC(don't need a monitor). Mainly being used just for personal and business applications.

If you can't buy a few components and plug them in a case and install Windows yourself, always go with Dell. There's just no reason not to.

HP because they have great customer support and have GREAT quality products.
