What do u think about removal of AIEEE state quota?? |
The problem is that the CCB had not informed us about the change in counselling procedure while giving application form,or during the commencement of the exam,or during the day of results of the AIEEE 2008. But just before 2 weeks of counselling they say there is a change in the procedure of counselling, it is not fair.Students from State like TN/ Maharashtra / Kerela/ Karnataka would stand to lose a seat to candidates of Delhi/ Raj/ AP/ UP after demolition of State Quota. As such all the States mentioned above have their NITs.It is fair that the decision will favour students with high AIRs ,who are less in number in TN,Maharashtra,karnataka,..........and many other states. NITs are for the development of regional students.this new decision which abolishes the earlier policy of national integration at NIT will only widen the gap between various states. aieee state quota gives admission to almost half appearing candidates..........nw some other xam having state quota must be there |
