What electives should i take??

I am going to high school for my frshman year...i want to know which 3 electives i should take..i already am wantin to pick agriscience applications...heres a list::::

Computer Applications 1
Business & Personal Finance
Digital Communications Systems
Health Team Relations
Teen Living
Housing and Interiors 1
Parenting
Apparel Development 1
Agriscience Applications
Art 1
Color Guard
Chorus
Symphonic Band
Band
Theater Arts 1
Geography in Action

Do you have any ideas as to what you will do after you graduate from high school, such as a field you might be interested in? If not, I would probably strongly suggest the Career Management course because most likely, it will help you to determine what might best suit you, career-wise.

I am probably old enough to be your mother or grandmother and while I'm older (not necessarily 'wiser'), I would suggest that you gear yourself to learn things that have to do with your future plans.

Computers and Digital Communications Systems are 'the wave of the future' and with everything starting to turn to their use, they are a fairly good choice.

Things that have to do with Business, such as Business&Personal Finance will help you by teaching you things that you will need for business and the real world and it is another good choice.

Lastly, you might consider Teen Living, Health Team Relations or Parenting because these classes will teach you things to prepare you for the real world and for when you are an adult and ready to have a family of your own.

All of the other choices you have listed seem to be courses that are more for the Performing Arts careers such as Acting, Singing or otherwise, working in a field that has to do with Entertainment (**but I do have to warn you about this field...There are literally hundreds of people who are hopefuls and aspiring artists in these types of fields who think they have what it takes to become rich and famous, but end up little more than the total opposite--poor, disappointed and sometimes, drug-addicted, etc. and very, very few make it big.)

Teen Living is a good one. i am taking that and i am going to be a freshman. it teaches responsibility skills for the futer. Carreer Management will also help alot in the future. I would definatly say to go for Computer Applications 1, because you will be using a computer your whole life. So you would benifit alot from that class.

I would say career management if it is how it sounds- it wound like it would help you prepare for your future, but helping you choose your interests and a job that coincides with them.
