Making schedule for next school year?

BUT I have no idea of what any of these classes I could take are?

*Business Applications
*Business Law
*Enterprising Management
*Intro to Finance
*Desktop Publishing
*MULTIMEDIA
*Family & Consumer Science
*Clothing Management
*Food & Nutrition
*Child Development
*Housing&Interior Design
*Family Finance
*Survey of the Fine Arts

- Can anyone explain any of these classes to me?
I'm having a hard time choosing.

its been a while since high school but i know some of these.
*multimedia- computer animation? (my sis took it and loved it)
*Food & nut- i took that, it a cooking class. lots of fun and very knock off!
*child dev- learning about the phases children go through as the grow both physical and mental. (took in college, interesting but little more tuff)
*housing& int.- learn about putting rooms together such as furniture and diff fabrics
if i had the same options, i would go w/ either food & nut or multimedia! good luck!

Look at your university website, there should be a undergraduate catalog with course descriptions. Also search your school websites for the syllabus of these courses, this semester's classes should be available.

What is your major? I'm a business major, so I can tell you a little about the top few classes.

*Business Applications- a computer course?
*Business Law- Study of laws applicable to business. This applies to hiring and firing, discrimination, and various unethical practices. It is a law class, thus it is very dry.
*Enterprising Management- Sounds like what my university calls Entrepreneurship. It's a VERY time intensive course, with lots of projects. Among many things, you write a business plan for your fictional business.
*Intro to Finance- A mathematical based course about finance. Includes loans and how large corporations finance themself.

Talking to a guidance officer at school would be the best option. You need to choose subjects that you are interested in and will lead you to your future career.Child Development would be if you wanted to work in Child Care.Housing/Interior Design would be if you want to work in helping to decorate homes of people.Desktop Publishing and Multimedia will lead you into avenues of employment.
