Hi folks... i am starting to learn web application development i am studying right now HTML & Java servlets & JSP and after practicing these topics i will move to AJAX. are these three enough to be able to develop good web-applications sites ????? Don't be afraid for Data Base since i am using servlets it will be an easy task. I recommend that you learn a bit about databases, web services, SOAP and XML...Consider also learning about visual design with graphics tools such as Macromedia Fireworks and Flash, too. I would recommend at least lokoing at Coldfusion as well. It is a very good and secure scripting language that uses SQL to access databases, and create dynamic sites. It integrates seamlessly with Flash as well, letting you create dynamically generated flash content. |
