Trouble understanding four system development life cycles?

1. Traditional Systems Development Life Cycle
2. Prototyping
3. Rapid Application Development
4. End-User System Development Life Cycle

Can anyone give me a brief explanation of these ? Thank s

1. Requirements, Design, Build, Test, Deploy
2. Build something quick and dirty that kinda works, play with it with the users until they like it, and then build the rest, hopefully reusing some of the quick and dirty.
3. Building a small part of the system, deploying, building another small part of the system, deploying, et al
4. Have the end users build their own application, and then hand it to IS&S to add all of the "standards".
