Looking for optimum web application language?

Which web application development language is robust, flexible and has lots of free library classes and has easy visual coding (writes code in background and don't have to worry much about syntax) ?

ASP.NET 2.0 using Microsoft Visual Basic or Microsoft Visual C#

Get the Microsoft Visual Studio ... its a very useful Integrated Development Environment.
