Planning permission?

is it a legal requirement to post notices of planning applications in a prominent positipon near the development

I think that it is a legal requirement to post notices near the development site, as at the moment nearby where i live there is a large development underway and they have posted a notice of planning applications, but if you check with your local council they should be able to give you the information that you require.
