REMITTANCE OF US$11,300,000.00 DOLLARS

CONFIDENTIAL IS THE CASE")

Compliments Of The Season,

Forgive my indignation if this message comes to you as a surprise and
may offend your personality for contacting you without your prior consent and
writing through this channel.I got your contact from the proffesional data base
found in the internet Yahoo tourist search. When i was searching for a foreign reliable partner.I assured of your capability and reliability to champion this business opportunity.

After series of prayers/fasting.i was divinely directed to contact you
among other names found in the data base Yahoo tourist search.I believe that God has a way of helping who is in need.

I am (John Nelson),the Head of file Department in African development bank (ADB).

In my department we discovered an abandoned sum of ( ELEVEN MILLION THREE HUNDRED U.S.A DOLLARS) . In an account that belongs to one of our foreign customer who died along with his entire family in (Monday 31st July 2000) in a plane crash. Since we got information about his death, we have been expecting his next of kin to come over and claim his money because we cannot release it unless somebody applies for it as next of kin or relation to the deceased as indicated in our banking guidelines, but unfortunately we learnt that all his supposed next of kin or relation died along side with him at the plane crash leaving nobody behind for the claim. It is therefore upon this discovery that I and one official in my department now decided to make this business proposal to you and release the money to you as the next of kin or relation to the deceased for safety and subsequent disbursement since nobody is coming for it and we don鈥檛 want this money to go into the bank treasury as unclaimed bill.

The Banking law and guideline here stipulates that if such money remained unclaimed after a certain period of years, the money will be transferred into the Bank treasury as unclaimed fund. The request of foreigner as next of kin in this business is occasioned by the fact that the customer was a foreigner, and a Burkinabe cannot stand as next of kin to a foreigner. We agree that 30% of this money will be for you as foreign partner, in respect to the provision of a foreign account, 10% will be set aside for expenses incured during the business and 60% would be for me and my woman colleague. There after i will visit your country for disbursement according to the percentages indicated.

Therefore to enable the immediate transfer of this fund to you as arranged, you must apply first to the bank as relations or next of kin of the deceased indicating your bank name, your bank account number, your private telephone and fax number for easy and effective communication and location where the money will be remitted.Upon receipt of your reply, I will send to you by fax or email the text of the application I will not fail to bring to your notice that this transaction is hitch free and that you should not entertain any atom of fear as all required arrangements have been made for the transfer.

You should contact me on my cell phone number 00226-76855660 immediately as soon as you receive this letter. Trusting to hear from you immediately.

Your鈥檚 faithfully,

John Nelson.
FROM (ADB) OUAGADOUGOU BURKINA-FASO.
GOD BLESSINGS,PROTECTIONS AND GUIDIANCE TO YOUR ENTIRE FAMILY.

Ahh ... the old 419 ... very old and still going. Surprising how many people fall for it still. Greed eating itself I suppose. Anyway ... there is a site (below) set up to attempt to slow these idiots.

SCAM.

nope! i delete these types of messages!

you must be kidding
I wouldnt give my 'best friend' all those details.............

People are unfortunately that gullable. or some at least, normally the most vulnerable of us too.

Personally i wouldn't fall for it.

apparently they are, cos this type of emails are still going around, and they wouldn't be if there were no ppl fallin for the scam

There must be some mistake, they sent this to ME it's MY money!!!

Unfortunately, some people do fall for this and end up sending these people money. These people are sick, sick ,sick!!!!!!

It is not so much gullible as greedy - the scammers usually want some fees paid up front which you can refuse straight away but some people don't and then they ask for a bigger fee and so on. I have met people who genuinely believed all the stories about validations and bribes, etc. They could not take their eyes off the $20 million - like a rabbit in a headlight beam.

i get lots of those emails but never reply back... i just delete them

Are people that gullible? Yes indeed, just when you think they hit rock bottom, they sink deeper into the pit.

Had loads like this.............bin them....I don't know how anyone can be taken in by this tosh, but you will see questions appear on here from time to time, asking if these are genuine!!!!

Oh it is still doing the rounds, only fools reply to this kind of emails....

I wouldn't even read past the Ouagadougou part, lol

I personally wouldn't fall for it. For one, you can't look for someone in the internet. Two, those details are too risky to answer and well, better safe than sorry. Three, I've heard about people falling for e-mails or text messages about getting money. They actually have to pay the senders first.

sadly many people are falling for these scams and loose thousands if not more. thats why we've been receiving more lately. they use the greed and desperation of some people to scam them. a normal person wouldn't fall for these scams or the "you've won the lottery" scams.

I would have smelt a rat if I got that email. Someone would fall for it though, out of stupidity and greed, as soon as they saw ELEVEN MILLION THREE HUNDRED U.S.A DOLLARS.

N0. I would not even look at it .

nahh......
I'll never believe in such a crop!!....

No!
Yes, people are so gullible. Such emails continue to circulate, in numerous guises, because people do answer and, ultimately, part with large sums as 'seed capital' for the big reward. Instances of victims losing 拢20,000+ have been recorded in the UK and USA!

i got this exact email the other day, the only difference being that there was no form to fill in and the money was $10,000,000

had a couple of these also and just deleted them because if it was genuine they would have my address not my email. I would never have that kind of luck anyway. I'm on this planet to work for my money and there is no easy way out for me.

Wow! This mail asks a lot of personal info! I'm very cautious, so I would delete the mail immediately if I were you.
And If I receive mails from people I don't know, I delete them without viewing (of course! Fortunately, I haven't received any e-mails from people I don't know so far).
In my country, there are some laws that require personal information should be very carefully dealt with when using it.

my Advice: Don't deal with anyone from a foreign country or Accept checks from strangers and never use wire/bank transfer services.. you risk losing your $$ and your mind.
Remember, if it sounds too good
to be true, it probably is! NEVER give out your personal information to strangers online! Always be on guard.

I received this frequently and one time I answered sending the number account and all, but they want my address, and I suppose are bad business.

This is fraud and a total scam.

Yes! I replied and received 拢372,000,000 in lots of brown envelopes. Once the ink dries I'm off on a spending spree!

how many peeps fall for this scam?

i have received loads of e-mail like this crap

some one even tried a scam using the Nat west bank (UK bank)

at the top of all e-mail's is an i.p.s address i tend to report anything like this to yahoo direct

oh and watch out for the lotto scam some idiot likes to think yahoo run a lotto and wanna charge you

i even had one claiming to be from London UK but the address given was not a London address the post code was 100% wrong for any part of London

I certainly hope you are not asking this question because you fell for it

yes, its a scam and sadly there are still lots of people falling for it. call it uneducated, naif , etc...

At least you didn't get it thru snail mail , now that's SICK.
My mother got a snail mail with similar content.
She asked me if its real.

Well the mail said it was a lotto from Spain and we never ever have been to Spain, second it was made by a simple 'bad' color printer, the paper was cheap and the email on it was from a free email service. That and the stamp wasn't from Spain.

My mother isn't stupid by a long shot , its just she is a bit naif and thinks that no one is that evil.

No doubt it is scam. It breaks through all the channels, usually from Africa. They get e-mail addresses of the companies, which advertise in different world and European Directories.

Absolute scam. They will send you a check and ask you to deposit their check and remit some of the money back to them. By the time their check bounces, yours will be cashed. You are left with noone to prosecute since they are in another country. DO NOT DO THIS.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
